VBS Commencement

On Sunday night our Church had VBS Commencement. Each class stood on stage and sang a few songs or told everyone what they learned that week in Bible School. Here is Lana's class singing. She did such a good job, and I had to post some pic's because she looked so big standing up on stage!!

This picture is funny because, they sang This Little Light of Mine, which is one of Lana's favorite songs. Each of the kids were given a little candle to hold, I don't know if Lana's didn't work or if she kept shutting it off, but she was more concerned about her candle not working than singing the song, which she normally loves to sing. She kept saying "it's not working" and trying to hand it to her teacher :)

VBS

Lana got to be in VBS for the first time this year. They have a class for 2 and 3 year olds, and Lana absolutely loved it. It didn't end until 8:30pm, so we didn't get home until around 10 each night, which is way past Lana's bedtime, which made for a long week for Lana, but well worth it! Here are some pictures of the fun she had!!

Playing with play dough

Bubbles
Lana LOVED the parachutte
Eating popsiclesLana got to stand at the front of the opening ceremony and help lead songs one night, she was dancing and singing, too cute!! Pictures didn't turn out real well because it was too dark and I was too far back

Shower

Our Church family was so nice to throw us a shower for baby Nathan, even though he is our second child! We have been so blessed to be in this Church, and were very blessed by this shower, and the generosity of our Church family! Above is me and the cake!
A terrible angle for a picture, I look fat not pregnant- the gift table
Opening gifts

Lana even got a few presentsAnd Lana got to enjoy some cake and balloons as well. . .
Lana did so well with the shower. I think it helped her understand more that she is going to have a baby brother. When we brought the presents home, she knew that they were not hers, and kept pointing at things and saying "this is for baby brother" and she doesn't seem jealous at all! I know things will change when he arrives, but right now she seems very excited to pass her old things onto baby brother. One morning she was in our room and saw the bassinet, and said "this is for baby brother" she also wants us to put his carseat in the car already :) and she will come up to me and lift my shirt up and say "hi baby brother" it is sweet! As well as pat my tummy so gently and talk to him. She is going to be a great big sister!!

Our Baby Boy

Yesterday I went to the Doctor for my 32 week check up. Weight is fine, blood pressure is a little high but my Doctor is not worried right now. But when she measured my belly she said she was concerned because I was measuring very small for 32 1/2 weeks. She wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure the baby was weighing correctly and to make sure I had enough fluid, and wasn't losing fluid. Good news is, had the ultrasound and fluid is great, baby actually is already weighing 4 1/2 pounds, she said the baby is actually measuring 33 1/2 weeks, with a due date of July 20th. (We are still going to go by the 26th) Bad news is, as of now baby boy is completely breech. He has 8 weeks to decide to turn around, so please please pray with us, and pray that he will turn on his own. I know a c-section would not be the end of the world, but I really don't want to have a c-section. I had to be induced with Lana a few days after my due date. I had dreams of going into labor on my own, laboring at home as long as possible, and having a natural delivery with this baby. Now that may not happen, not to mention the thought of a c-section is just scary, it is major surgery, and takes much longer to recover from. So please pray with us that baby boy will turn around!! :)
