Fall

I have decided that fall just might be the prettiest season, at least here in KY. As we were leaving for Church this evening it looked so pretty out, I snapped a few pic's!Lana also loves to play in the leaves, of course. This is my attempt to get a picture of the kids together. Nathan is looking, but he doesn't look too happy!Yesterday was a beautiful day to spend at the Zoo. We went with our good friends Manda, Jack, and Eli. Lana and Eli are good buds! They love to hold hands and walk together.

We got about 10 inches of snow in Greeley, but other parts of the state got up to 3 feet. We loved getting to be there for it! Wish we could have stayed longer :)

Fall Fun

Last night we went to the "World's Largest Halloween Party" at the Louisville Zoo. Since we are Zoo Members we got in for free. It was great fun for the kids, and we had a great time as a family as well. We had debated whether we should go or not because it was pretty cold and a little rainy. So we decided to bundle up and it turned out to be a great night because since the weather wasn't great, there weren't very many people there at all. We had heard that this event is usually very very crowded, so we would definitely trade a little rain for no crowd at all.Lana and Nathan at the Zoo Me and my butterflyMe and my little pumpkinOur butterfly lost in a hay mazeShe found her way eventually :) Trick-or-treating

Pictures

Our friend Julie runs a photography business out of her home and she offered to take pictures of our kids, she does a great job. They turned out really good! Here are a few of them! Also let me add that we decided to do this on the coldest day of the year so far, so the kids kind of look frozen!

Today we went to Octoberfest in Taylorsville and Lana had a blast. She got tons of candy, and got to jump in the bouce houses. Josh and the Youth Group walked in the parade. Here are some pic's of her having fun bouncingShe even got one all to herself for a little whileHere is my little Giraffe. How cute is this outfit?
Lana and her little friend Jack. Lana and Jack are 20 months apart, but Jack is getting big enough that he and Lana had so much fun playing together and sharing toys. Although at one point we over heard Lana telling Jack he had to obey. Ahh, little mommy--this is what I have to look forward to when Nathan gets bigger.
I take Lana to story time at our library once a week, we have been going for over a year now and she loves it. It is one of the highlights of her week. She loves it SO much that she plays "story time" at home with her dolls and stuffed animals all the time. Here she is actual reading a story to the kids at story time.
