Gymnastics
Well, kind of. . . since the weather has been getting cooler and we can't go to the play ground as often as we used to, we have been going to the gym. We found a great kid's gym that has open gym for pre-schoolers. Needless to say, Lana loves it and she has a blast!
Big Boy
Our Nathan turned 4 months old today! He is getting so big. He had his 4 month well check-up today, and he is doing great! He is doing everything he is supposed to for 4 months, laughing a ton, rolling over, sitting supported and holding his head up very well :)Nathan weighs 15 lbs 13 oz, and he is 26 1/2 inches tall. He is a big boy, and very tall too.
Since he is 4 months old he can also start foods. Because of his stomach issues, his Dr told us to start him on baby oatmeal, instead of rice cereal like normal. The Dr also told me to start giving him juice, he said he would help with his stomach problems. I find it a little odd, because I didn't give Lana juice until 9 months old, 4 months seems a little early. But I am willing to try anything the Dr says to make his tummy feel better!Saturday, November 21, 2009

Disputible Matters
I stole this from my friend Mandy's blog because I thought it was so well put. So many people get caught up in the little things, when in the end, do they matter? No!
In regard to disputible matters
Homeschooling. Public schooling. Childbirth preferences. Organic foods. Cloth diapering. Formula. The list goes on. None of these issues define me nor do they justify me before God. They are disputible matters, however. We can disagree on any of these topics and still be good moms.

November
Nathan Joshua 3 months and 3 weeks old today- or 16 weeks! He is growing so much and he is so much fun! He still loves to smile and he now loves to giggle, makes tons of happy sounds and is starting to play with toys. He can also scoot around the room on his back, he arches his back and pushes off with his legs, so he scoots on his head. As if the back of his head wasn't already bald from laying on his back :)
This November we have had beautiful weather, so we have been trying to be outside as much as possible! Lana at the play ground!
And Nathan at the play ground
We also went to our first Horse Show ever. Our Youth (and Parents) put on a Horse Show for a fund raiser. Here is Chelsea, Lana, Owen, and Manda and Jack watching the horse show. (And Cascinda, on the top of the bleachers, holding Nathan.)
Lana and Owen liked watching the Horses
They actually got really into it. It was cute!
They also enjoyed running around and climbing on the bleachers.
As you may know, this year we got a Membership to The Louisville Zoo. It was a very good investment for us, as it has definitely paid off. Through out the spring, summer, and fall we have gone almost once a week. Lana absolutely loves animals, so she is always asking to go to the Zoo. Her favorites are the fish, snakes, and tarantulas? Yeah, don't ask me why. She also loves the Elephants, giraffes, and camels!
This particular day at the Zoo Lana was wanting to pose infront of everything and have me take her picture. So I took advantage of the opportunity.
Petting the goats.
Also, in the cooler weather all of the animals seem to be more active. Here is a Komodo Dragon. He was trying to get out, he kept jumping out of the water onto the glass.
The alligators were swimming around, you can't really see but there is one in the background.
Lana and her friend Jack.
Jack and the tiger.

Fall
I have decided that fall just might be the prettiest season, at least here in KY. As we were leaving for Church this evening it looked so pretty out, I snapped a few pic's!
Lana also loves to play in the leaves, of course.
This is my attempt to get a picture of the kids together. Nathan is looking, but he doesn't look too happy!
Yesterday was a beautiful day to spend at the Zoo. We went with our good friends Manda, Jack, and Eli. Lana and Eli are good buds! They love to hold hands and walk together.
